Indigestion is a common condition that causes us to feel full even when we haven't eaten anything.
It occurs when stomach acid accumulates in the esophagus or when your stomach is irritated, causing irritation.

When you have indigestion or vomiting, your response may be to grab a bottle of an antacid pill, but there are natural home treatments that may relieve your symptoms without the negative effects that many over-the-counter medicines can cause.
Indigestion Remedies
Here are a few Indigestion remedies you can try at your home to get relief.
1) Baking Soda
Drinking a mixture of one cup of water and one tablespoon of baking soda is a cheap and efficient way to relieve indigestion.
The remedy helps in reducing gas, and bloating, and helps neutralize stomach acid. Before consuming the mixture, add a few drops of lemon juice to lessen the possibility of a chemical change in the stomach.
2) Ginger
Ginger is also another natural indigestion cure since it can lower stomach acid. Too much stomach acid produces indigestion in the same way that too less stomach acid does.
To get relief from indigestion and soothe your stomach, drink a cup of ginger tea as needed.
Trying to suck on ginger candy, sipping ginger ale, or preparing your own ginger drink are among other options. Boil one or two ginger root pieces in four glasses of water. Before drinking, add lemon or honey for taste.
3) Apple Cider Vinegar
Because indigestion can be caused by a lack of stomach acid, consume apple cider vinegar to stimulate your body's production of stomach acid. For immediate relief, mix one to two tablespoons of raw, unpasteurized apple cider vinegar into a cup of water and consume. Alternatively, drink the cocktail 30 minutes before eating to prevent indigestion.

4) Cloves

5) Peppermint
Peppermint is not simply a breath mint. It also has an anti-spasm impact on the body, making it an excellent alternative for stomach issues such as nausea and indigestion. [1]
To quickly relax your stomach, drink a cup of peppermint tea after meals, or keep a couple of pieces of peppermint candy in your pockets and chew on the candy after eating.
6) Chamomile Tea
Chamomile tea has been shown to help promote relaxation and relieve stress. By decreasing stomach acid in the gastrointestinal tract, this plant can also reduce gut discomfort and indigestion. [2] Chamomile also works as an anti-inflammatory to alleviate discomfort.
Put one or two sachets in boiling water for 10 minutes to make chamomile tea. Pour into a cup and top with honey if desired. To relieve indigestion, consume the tea as needed.
7) Take a Warm Bath
Heat can assist relieve indigestion by relieving tension, cramping, and bloating.
When you're getting ready for sleep and indigestion occurs, a warm bath can not only help you relax and unwind, but it will also deliver indigestion relief quickly.
This is especially true when combined with one of the indigestion remedies listed above.
8) Licorice Root
Licorice root helps relieve indigestion by calming muscle cramps and irritation in the digestive tract. For relief, chew licorice root or combine it with boiling water and drink the solution.
For quick relief, eat no more than 2.5 grams of dried licorice root each day.
For indigestion, consume licorice root half an hour before or one hour after you've eaten.
9) Aloe Vera
Research suggests, over the course of four weeks, individuals with indigestion and acid reflux syndrome drank 10 milliliters of aloe juice every day. [3]
Researchers arrived at the conclusion that aloe was well tolerated by all subjects and decreased the frequency and intensity of their gastrointestinal symptoms.
10) Fennel Seeds
Our mothers have used fennel seeds as an ancient natural medicine to treat a variety of digestive problems.
Fennel seed's strong anti-spasmodic effects do wonders for relieving indigestion as well as for reducing nausea, bloating, and stomach cramps. [4]
If you experience indigestion, simply chew a few fennel seeds shortly after the meal. Fennel water can also be consumed to ease indigestion.
Drink this water after boiling half a cup of water with half a teaspoon of chopped fennel seeds for 10 minutes.
